Sporting's pre-season preparations are well underway, and they are showing great form in their friendly matches. After thrashing Estrela da Amadora 4-1 in the morning, the Lions faced Marítimo in a training match in the afternoon. In this encounter, they secured a convincing 3-0 victory.
Francisco Trincão was the standout performer of the game, scoring two goals to contribute to the team's victory. Geny Catamo also found the back of the net, showcasing the attacking prowess of the Sporting team.
However, the most notable aspect of the match was the tactical experimentation by coach Rúben Amorim.
